FAQ’s

  1. Who will clean my house?
    Your Cleaner will allocate either a single person or a couple to clean your house. It will always be the same person/people. If anything was to change with your cleaner/s, we contact you in advance to approve and arrange a meeting with the new person/s.
  2. Are all cleaners security screened?
    Yes. All cleaners are required to provide a current police clearance to us on commencement of their business along with an updated version each year. Our process is very thorough, aside from the background itself, including references, police clearance, job history etc.
  3. How do I pay?
    The cleaner is paid directly by you on the day, usually by cash or cheque (normally left on the kitchen bench or similar in an envelope) or by bank transfer (ask your cleaner directly for their bank details).
  4. What happens on public holidays?
    Your Cleaner is closed on Public Holidays; however, your personal cleaner may choose to work on holiday’s if necessary, so please speak with them directly about specific inquiries. We make attempts, whenever possible, to reschedule a cleaning on a more feasible day – assuming the cleaner isn’t fully booked.
  5. Am I under Contract?
    No, you are never under contract with Your Cleaner. Our #1 priority is your utmost satisfaction, which must be delivered on a consistent basis. If for any reason you need to halt our service, the process is simple – merely contact your personal cleaner and they will return keys immediately.
  6. What if I am going away?
    For extended periods, simply let your cleaner know how long the absence will be, and when they should expect to return.
  7. What is your hourly rate?
    Your Cleaner does not operate on hourly rates, but instead, a fixed price for your home or office cleaning. All of our quotes are customized to your specific needs, including additional requirements and or tasks you need completed. The primary reasons we do not use hourly rates are:

    1. Statistically speaking, cleaners tend to slow down or muddle about the house to prolong work

    2. Payment can be unclear, as many clients are not home during the work.

    We eliminate this concern by ensuring the job is done to a customer’s expectations, regardless of the time taken. We strive to finish your home to the highest possible standard, every single time.

  8. What about insurance?
    To join our company, it’s a requirement that cleaners carry comprehensive insurance coverage for:

    Public Liability coverage for $5,000,000
    + Breakage cover

  9. Do I supply a key?
    We do carry keys for over 90% of customers and take the responsibility very seriously; however, you can manage access to your home in other ways if you prefer. All keys are tagged with a unique code so it cannot be identified by anyone except your cleaner and our office.

    Some customers choose to:

    Hide a key somewhere on the property each visit
    Give a key after being home for the first clean
    Let the cleaner in and go out for a few hours
    Let the cleaner in and ask them to lock up when they are finished.
    We are happy to accommodate your needs, no matter what they are. However, planning to be at home during a cleaners work can be frustrating for clients, as our starting timetable on your home or office is not guaranteed.

  10. I would like a regular booking but my house needs a good clean first
    As a part of our regular cleaning service, we understand the first clean often takes 50% longer than future cleans. We do not charge for this extra time, but please understand it may take a few visits to get every corner of your house covered. As a guide, a home will continue to improve in cleanliness rapidly over the first 3-4 visits (of course, it will also look great after the first clean!). If you are happy with this arrangement, we will do it automatically as part of our cleaning process.

    If; however, you demand a very thorough clean before you contract on a regular basis, we would need to quote according to your requirements – as the pricing must be customised.

  11. Do you offer monthly or every 3 week cleaning?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer a monthly cleaning service. We find it difficult to maintain our demanding schedule when the cleaning is more than 2 weeks apart.

    We also don’t offer 3 weekly cleans. Again, it has to do with scheduling – as our cleaners are almost always fully booked in advance. If you consider a fortnightly service, we can possibly reduce the amount of tasks each visit, to align with your needs.

  12. Do you supply all cleaning products & supplies?
    Yes, we supply everything required to clean your home including:

    HEPA filtration vacuums
    Power head attachment for all carpet and rugs (special rugs will be left on request)
    Clean, freshly laundered cloths for each part of your home (no sharing of supplies across different zones)
    Anti-bacterial mops
    Environmentally & family friendly citrus based products
    All tools including scrubbing brushes, sponges, etc. (all are non scratch)
    You shouldn’t have to worry about our work, that’s why you pay us to begin with. Saving you time means everything is handled on our front, simply give us instructions and we’re off to work with Grade A supplies.

  13. Are you environmentally friendly?
    Your Cleaner works exceptionally hard to ensure your home and family are safe from dust, bacteria and mold. That being said, we select products that are environmentally friendly, whenever feasible.
    Our main cleaning products (spray and wipe / bathroom cleaner) are manufactured from pure citrus-oils, 100% non-toxic without any phosphates. In fact, our citrus products fully biodegrade in less than 48 hours. The benefits are a clean home that smells great and is completely safe for the entire family.

    Our goal for the future is to be Carbon neutral, and we’ve made significant changes in our offices and cleaning practices to do just that.

    A few changes in the past 12 months include:

    All offices use 100% Green power
    Paperless office, over 90% less paper used
    Recycle all possible materials
    Suppliers are chosen for their environmental credentials first
    Cleaners are scheduled to jobs close-by to reduce car emissions
    We plant trees to offset our carbon usage

  14. Are Pets OK in the house?
    Of course! Many of our cleaners have pets of their own, and are happy to share the space with your extended family members. We don’t want to upset your pets, so please ensure a proper introduction is given before our work begins. Also, let us know of any fears or allergies a pet may have, that way our work doesn’t scare or endanger them.

    If your dog is likely to bark or be aggressive in any way, we would ask you to keep it outside while the cleaners are at your home.

  15. Do You Clean on Weekends?
    Regular Cleaning is only completed Monday – Friday. One off cleans can be arranged on the weekend but places are more limited than weekdays.
  16. Do you use fresh cleaning cloths in my home?
    Yes. We use fresh, clean, microfibre cloths in every home. Dirty cloths are removed constantly and replaced with fresh ones for every home. We are highly aware of the danger cross contamination presents, and follow strict Best-Practice procedures to ensure your home is not only visually clean, but also hygienically clean due to fresh cloths.
  17. Why On-line quotes only?
    We want to keep our service standards high but our costs low and the best way to manage this is by using technology that we all use right now. Our simple quote form allows us to carefully consider the fixed price quote and availability of a cleaner in 15 minutes or less. Of course, 15 minutes for a quote is acceptable for most customers but a 15 minute wait on the phone isnt which is why we only provide quotes through our website. This also allows us to use the information you enter as part of the booking for the cleaner.
