Yes. All cleaners are required to provide a current police clearance to us on commencement of their business and provide an up to date copy each year.  We also check referrences and referees.

Your Cleaner will allocate either a single person or a couple to clean your house and it will always be the same person/people. If anything was to change with your cleaner/s we would contact you in advance for your approval and to arrange a meeting with the new person/s.

The cleaner is paid directly by you on the day, usually by cash or cheque (normally left on the kitchen bench or similar in an envelope) or by bank transfer (ask your cleaner directly for their bank details.   

Your Cleaner is closed on Public Holidays, however your cleaner may choose to work on the day so please ask them directly if you are interested in them doing so.  We will always attempt to clean for you on another day if your clean does fall on a Public holiday however it can be difficult if the cleaner is fully booked.

No, you are never under contract with Your Cleaner; its our job to ensure you are happy so we can keep you as a customer for the long term. 
If for any reason you need to stop our service, its a simple process of contacting your cleaner and they will return your key immediatly.

If you are going away for an extended period just let your cleaner know how many cleans  you would like us to miss and we will follow your instructions.

Your Cleaner doesnt operate on an hourly rate as such but a fixed price for your home which is why we always give customised quotes based on the size of your home and any extra tasks to complete.  A common complaint regarding hourly rates are:

1. The cleaners seem to slow down or muddle about the house

2. They dont seem to stay the time paid

We eliminate this concern by ensuring that the job is done to the customers expectations regardless of the time taken.  This doesnt mean that we rush through your home but it does allow for differences in speed between our cleaners.  We finish your home to a high standard every time, regardless of the time taken.

To join our company it is a requirement that the cleaners carry comprehensive insurance coverage that covers:

• Public Liability cover for $10,000,000
• + Breakage cover

We do carry keys for over 90% of customers and take the responsibility very seriously, however you can manage access to your home in other ways if you prefer.  All keys are tagged with a unique code so it cant be identified by anyone but your cleaner and our office.

Some customers also choose to:

• Hide a key somewhere on the property each visit
• Give a key after being home for the first clean
• Let the cleaner in and go out for a few hours
• Let the cleaner in and ask them to lock up when they are finished.

We are happy to accomodate your needs but can have difficulty with exact timing as jobs often run over time.  If you would like to be home, the first job of the day is our only way of providing a reliable time (we generally start no earlier than 8am as a guide). 

As part of our regular cleaning service we accept that the first clean will take up to 50% longer than future cleans.  We will do the extra work for you without an extra charge but it may take a few visits to get every corner of your house covered.  As a guide, a home will continue to improve in cleanliness rapidly over the first 3-4 visits (of course, it will also look great after the first clean!). If you are happy with this arrangement, we will do it automatically as part of our cleaning process.

If however you wish to have a really thorough clean before you start on a regular basis, we would need to quote according to your requirements as the time allocated may be considerably more.

Unfortunately we don't offer a monthly cleaning service.  We find it too difficult to maintain our demanding cleaning schedule when the cleans are more than 2 weeks apart.

We also don't offer 3 weekly cleans, this issue is more to do with scheduling into our cleaners busy calendars as the cleaning week changes frequently.  If you are prepared to consider a fortnightly service, we can look at reducing the amount of tasks each visit to allign with your needs.

Yes, we supply everything required to clean your home including:

• Hepa filtration vacuums
• Power head attachment for all carpet and rugs (special rugs will be left on request)
• Clean, freshly laundered tea towels for each part of your home (no sharing of supplies across different zones)
• Anti bacterial mops
• Environmentally & family friendly citrus based products
• all tools including scrubbing brushes, sponges, etc (all are non scratch)

This is great for you as you dont have to worry about remembering supplies and great for us as we know exactly what we are using each visit which allows us to be safer, do a better job and be more efficient.

Your Cleaner work hard to ensure your home and family are safe from dust, bacteria and mould in your home but we also use products that help reduce the impact on the environment.

Our main cleaning products (spray and wipe and bathroom cleaner) are manufactured from pure citrus oils so are non toxic and do not contain any phosphates.  In fact, our citrus products biodegrade 100% in less than 48 hours.  The benefits are a clean home that smells great and is safe for the whole family.

Our goal for 2010 is to be Carbon neutral and we have made many changes in our offices and to cleaning practices to ensure we are number one in the industry.

Some changes we have made in the past 12 months:

• All of our offices use 100% Greenpower
• Paperless office, over 90% less paper used
• Recycle all possible materials
• Suppliers are chosen for their environmental credentials first
• Cleaners are scheduled to jobs as close as possible to reduce car emissions
• We plant trees to offset our carbon usage

Of course!  Most of our cleaners have pets and are happy to share the space with your extended family members.  We dont want to upset your pets so make sure you introduce them to your cleaner and let us know if they are scared of vacuums or any other potential problems so we are aware.

If your dog is likely to bark or be aggressive in any way, we would ask you to keep it outside while the cleaners are at your home.
